chili w/ habanero and sweet potato

American vegan winter soup

ingredients

  • 1 can 15oz crushed tomatoes
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 sweet potato, peeled, cubed small
  • 1 green bell pepper, chopped
  • 2 jalapenos, diced
  • 2 habaneros, minced
  • 2 cups vegetable stock
  • 1 can 15oz black beans
  • chili powder
  • cumin

instructions

  1. Step 1 Saute green bell pepper and jalapeno for 3-5 minutes.
  2. Step 2 Drain and rinse black beans.
  3. Step 3 Simmer rest of ingredients together.
